Our parent portal, Firefly, provides parents with up to date information about the school, our newsletter, and details of activities going on in your daughter’s class.  If you require a login and password, please contact the school office.

We are extremely lucky at Falcons School for Girls to have a dedicated Parent Friend Association who, throughout the year, organise a variety of social and practical events such as the second-hand uniform sale and numerous fund-raising activities. The time generously given by the volunteer mothers and fathers of our children helps to create a happy and interwoven environment. The pupils adore the organised events, as do the staff members and parents. Previous events have included cake sales, the Christmas and Summer fair and Quiz nights.


The information specified below is made available to parents of pupils and parents of prospective pupils and, on request, to the Chief Inspector, the Secretary of State or an independent inspectorate:

  • The school’s policy on and arrangements for admissions, misbehaviour and exclusions
  • Educational and welfare provision for pupils with EHC plans and pupils for whom English is an additional language
  • Curriculum policy
  • Policy to promote good behaviour and set out sanctions
  • Anti-bullying strategy, health and safety policy, and first aid policy
  • Academic performance during the preceding school year, including the results of any public examinations
  • Complaints procedure, and the number of complaints registered under the formal procedure during the preceding school year
  • A copy of the report of any inspections of the school or boarding provision
